Vice President Yemi Osinbajo this evening paid a condolence visit to the family of slain youth corps member, Precious Owolabi, at his family house in Zaria, Kaduna state.

 21 year old Precious who was observing his mandatory one year service at Channels Television, Abuja bureau, was killed in the bloody clash between men of the Nigeria Police Force and protesting Shi'ites members in Abuja on Monday July 2nd.

Osinbajo was accompanied in the visit by the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai.

Osinbajo who shared a video from his visit on his Twitter handle, wrote

“Nothing will ever compare with the pain of losing a child. his evening, I visited the family of Precious Owolabi and as a nation, we grieve the loss of this bright young man. May the Almighty God comfort the family and loved ones”.
